Today we went back to Olympic Park to go up the gondola, you could see all of Montreal from up there. We went to this REALLY big Church called St. Joseph Oratory, and we climbed over 280 steps to get to the main entrance, it was tiring but I did it! Today was our last day and after the St. Joseph Oratory we got on the plane to come home.
We went to Olympic Park today, it was really cool to see the really big swimming pool, and there was also a bunch of Olympic mini exhibits. We didn’t stay there very long. After that we went to the Montréal Biodôme, it was really neat to see all the animals, it was really a big indoor zoo but they had sea lions! When we were finished we played frizbee on the lawn outside. That evening we went on a Montreal Ghost Walk, the haunted walk is a tour of old Montreal. We started with one guide who was dressed up like a ghost and she took us to some buildings and talked about them, and then she would trade us off to another tour guide. It was really cool, and they told us the history and ghost stories of the different buildings.
Today we went to the National Gallery of Canada, in front of the museum was a HUGE spider that cost a lot of money. After that we went to the Aviation Museum, I didn’t like it and found it really boring, and I was tired. We got on a bus and drove to Montreal, I slept the whole way. We went out for dinner at this really neat place, Laura and I got pretty loud and made some of our friends pretty mad, but I had fun!
Today we went to the Canadian Museum of Civilization and we saw the evolution of Canada through different exhibits. We went to Bayward Market again today, all the shops in there are really cool. We went to theMackenzie King Estate, he was Prime Minister for 22 years in two sections and he built his own estate. Then we got to got to the mall for some shopping and went to play laser tag.
Today we went to Rideau Canal it was pretty cool to see all the water and how they hold it all in there. After that we went to the Parliament buildings and saw the Senate which is all red, then we saw the House of Commons which is green. We were able to watch a debate. We went to see Rideau Hall, the Governor Generals house and it was fun we then went for dinner and shopping.
Today we arrived in Ottawa we went to the Supreme Court and learned about the different levels of court, Federal, Appeal, and Supreme. Then we went to the Canadian War Museum and I really liked the World War II artifacts they even had Hilter’s car at themuseum which was really erie. For lunch we went to the Hard Rock Cafe, I had a burger and fries. After lunch we went and walked around BayWard Market and I bought lots of Jewelery. When we got to the hotel we settled in and went to the grocery store with Mrs. Cockerill.
